Welcome to Villas Romana! Formerly Carlos, Villas Romana brings with it traditional, good quality, affordable Italian cuisine with a contemporary European twist – all served in a fun and relaxed environment. New owners and long-time friends Davide Premi, Rachid Nambili and Ferdinando Rosato have joined forces, combining their variety of knowledge and experiences in the restaurant business, bringing this to Doncaster. Rachid, a chef by trade with many years of kitchen experience stresses the importance of the quality of produce used to create classic Italian dishes. “At Villas Romana we buy fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create high quality meals for our customers – for me that is the key”. Ferdinando also a chef and restaurateur by trade insists on attentive, personal service “we always try to create an environment which is relaxed, but maintains a high standard of service to our customers. We encourage feedback and aim to meet the needs of our clientele – we welcome children and as our food is cooked to order, customers can be assured we are happy to cater for specific requirements”. Davide Premi shares the same principles as his business partners and the former owner of a number of successful restaurants in Sheffield is delighted to bring his experience and enthusiasm to the Doncaster area.Villas Romana is located on Nether Hall Road in the new, up-coming part of Doncaster. The restaurant is spacious, providing customers with a unique dining experience in the cellar restaurant, providing a rustic, traditional environment to enjoy the extensive array of freshly prepared Italian and European style dishes. The upstairs restaurant has a large lounge bar area where customers can enjoy a selection of tap beers, European wines and spirits making it an ideal stop-off at the end of a hard day.
