My passion for animals has always been with me, as a child I grew up with dogs – my mum had
dachshunds, which I helped looked after.  I especially loved making them “find” treats  hidden under
plastic cups!
Later having bought my first house, I rescued a little mongrel, a real “Heinz 57” from the RSPCA.  
Ella had several issues including car sickness, separation anxiety and selective hearing when calling her to
me. In other words sniffing a leaf or running around madly was just so much more exciting than coming
back! This encouraged me to learn all I could about dog psychology and training.
I completed the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training Foundation course – a year of study,
including observing wolves.
Last year I went to Battersea dogs and cats home and adopted my second dog – a Staffordshire bull
terrier x collie and called her Beau.  There are so many dogs needing homes. Both my dogs are excellent
with my baby daughter – who is now seven months
