All Dogs Go To Erinn

As you've probably guessed, my name is Erinn, I'm 29 and originally I'm from Ireland. I've always had a love for animals, especially dogs and so I came to Aberdeen in 2004 to study Small Animal Care in the University of Aberdeen. Most people had never heard of this before and when asked what I was doing in the Granite City, it often led to a very interesting conversation!

After the third year of my degree, I returned to Ireland to pursue a career in Veterinary Nursing. Although this did not pan out the way I was hoping to (I left after a year and came back to Aberdeen to do get my honours degree), it gave me the practical skills to back up the theory from my degree and broadened my knowledge of all creatures great and small.

Since finishing my degree, I have been working in the restaurant industry full-time whilst still keeping my love for animals alive with volunteering for such organisations as THE NEW ARC which is a wildlife centre based in Ellon, The Dog's Trust in West Lothian and the SSPCA centre in Drumoak. I'm also the proud owner of an oftentimes temperamental but all-time loveable rogue collie/lab cross otherwise known as Lucy (Lucifer on bad dog days!)

I started All Dogs because, being a dog owner and having had other pets in the past, I appreciate how hard it is to juggle spending time with your pet with life commitments and trying to find a happy medium for you and your furry friend. With my help, you can have both without the constant worry/guilt of leaving them at home alone all day or trying to find a kennel/cattery that will look after them properly when booking that much needed holiday.
