All large lecture theatres, seating over seventy people, are equipped with data projectors. They are controlled by fixed computer points that support Microsoft Office and other engineering packages. There are computer ports that visiting speakers can use to plug in lap top computers. These theatres also have audio loops installed to aid people with hearing difficulties.The smaller lecture theatres can be fitted out with portable data projectors by prior arrangement with any of our administrative offices. The School employs a dedicated AVA Technician to assist staff and students with this equipment, in addition to the support provided by the University. Any queries relating to standard or special requirements for lecture theatres, seminar or meeting rooms can be referred to this technician, who will also be pleased to offer general advice on standard specifications, operation of equipment and related matters.
