Choosing the right childcare can be one of the most difficult decisions a busy parent has to make. We hope the quality of the care and service we provide together with our excellent facilities will help make that difficult decision easier for you.

At Buttercups Childcare in Torquay, our aim is to provide the best possible childcare a parent could wish for. We are Ofsted registered to provide childcare in a Home based environment and we have just achieved an Ofsted “Outstanding” for the care and education we provide to the children we care for. We are a small family run setting, this enables us to offer more personal individual care to the children we care for. Being a small group helps us ensure the quality of the care we provide. Parents, children and carers are made to feel welcome, valued and respected. We acknowledge that “parents” or carers are the primary care providers in their child’s life and we offer our service to be an extension to the care they provide.

We provide care for babies and children aged 0 – 5 years. We are open 51 weeks per year and offer care Monday – Friday from 8.a.m. until 6.p.m.

We are also able to provide 15 hours per week of FREE nursery education to children aged 3 and 4 for 38 weeks per year when claiming their nursery education grant through our service. For more information please ask.
