About me

I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.I specialise in the management of musculoskeletal conditions and benign chronic pain.I graduated with honours in physiotherapy in 1994. In 2005 I completed a Masters degree from Manchester University in Manual Therapy (Assessment and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions). Over the years I have treated patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions in primary and secondary care and via self referral. I have worked in a spinal orthopaedic clinic, hospital departments, a pain clinic, GP surgeries, health centres, patients’ homes, private practice and have run classes.Throughout my career I have kept up to date, and have developed manual, pain management and exercise skills as well as acupuncture, and the ability to set goals and problem solve in a collaborative way with clients.Penwortham Clinic is located in the centre of Penwortham near to Preston on the way to Longton.
