Playwrights is an independently owned cafe bar and bistro which has been established for more than ten years. Ideally located in the heart of Coventry’s historic Cathedral Quarter, Playwrights can accommodate your every requirement from an intimate dining experience, to business lunches, after work drinks, events and private parties.

We pride ourselves on offering traditional home cooked food, with breakfast, lunch and a la carte  menus available. We source our products locally where possible and our a la carte menu changes to reflect seasonal produce.

Playwrights is renowned for it’s friendly, relaxed atmosphere and accommodating staff. We can cater for all occasions and offer a personal, tailored booking service.
