Feel free to call the chef and adapt the menu to your taste.Our Sushi Chef has 15 years experience in sushi put together.All started when he was 17 years old and took his first sushi class with Japanese immigrants from Kasato Maru *.His passion about sushi never stop growing since then.He came to England with a goal to embrace the culture of the country and become a professional chef.After ups and downs working in many different restaurants, in 10 years he paved his way up from no English speaker kitchen porter to Head Chef in a famous sushi restaurant in London.Now he has more than he could have dreamed about.He owns ROCK STAR SUSHI BAR and is very thankful to his family and partner for their support.
* (笠戸丸, Kasato Maru ) was the ship that in 1908, carried the first group of Japanese immigrants bound to the agreement between Brazil and Japan.The Kasato Maru ship was originally a Russian named Kazan which was used as a hospital ship during the Russo-Japanese War . At the end of the war, went to the Japanese as war indemnity or captured. Was adapted for passenger ship and transported the soldiers who had fought in Manchuria back to Japan. The trip began at the port of Kobe and ended 52 days later, the Port of Santos on June 18 , 1908. Came from 165 families (781 people) .
