Welcome to Telford Academy of Performing Arts. We offer a variety of affordable classes at 2 venues across Telford & Shropshire for your convenience.   With over 25 years of experience we have taken our skills to develop a fun and friendly environment for you and your children to learn and enjoy performing arts. We Offer classes for all ages & abilities, and there is something for the whole family.   At Telford Academy we set high standards. Our teachers are passionate about the arts and are dedicated to passing on their skill and knowledge following years of training and performing.   Dance is extremely beneficial for children and adults alike. Dance is perfect for improving fitness and developing confidence. We teach discipline and develop talent in rewarding and enjoyable lessons.   Our founder and principal Kerry Perks-Sismanidis began her dance training at the age of 2 ½ years old. At 16 she opted to go to Doreen Bird College in London following the offer of placements at many of the top performing arts colleges in the UK.   Kerry finished college with her Dance Diploma and all the Teaching Associates in Ballet, Tap & Modern, and went immediately into her first professional contract aboard many Cruise Ships.   Some years later and following a very successful performing career Kerry founded K.P.S Productions. To this day the company is responsible for the choreography and production of many shows in luxury hotels and cruise liners around Europe. K.P.S Productions regularly hosts seminars for entertainment teams assisting with skills development and production enhancement.  

K.P.S Productions has worked with many companies over the years including Thomson, TUI, Grecotel, Louis Cruise Lines and more. Theatres, hotels, cruise liners, schools, casinos and concerts are all venues within the K.P.S Productions remit.   Industry experience gained through a life time of training, and many years of performing, choreographing and producing with K.P.S Productions is applied in the classes and productions at Telford Academy.   Whether you want to dance for fun or have a life long career in the entertainment business our broad skill set and effective teaching approach are ideal for your performing arts education.
