Ashtanga Yoga/Mysore Style

A beautiful yet challenging choreographed system of yoga
that integrates postures with movement, breath and set
gazing points.
Mysore Style: all levels of experience and ability
are welcome to Mysore Style and we highly recommend this option to
beginners. The teacher will guide students individually through the
postures until, eventually, you are able to practice alone but still
with the support of the teacher. Each student works to their own ability
and experience and therefore the length of practice will vary between
individuals; the average length of practice for a beginner is 1 hour and
this extends to approximately 1 ½ hours as the sequence is learnt.
Most Mysore Style classes take place in the morning but there are some
evening classes available.
Led Classes: we run a small number of led Ashtanga
classes. Only students who have previously attended Mysore Style can
attend led classes. Led classes are usually ½ Primary Series, although
this will vary depending on experience and/or ability.
